Description

Conidep –M 50 contains BENIDIPINE+METOPROLOL. Both Benidipine & Metoprolol are anti-hypertensive medicines. These are prescribed for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). BENIDIPINE is a calcium channel blocker that works by blocking the calcium channels of the blood vessels and dilates the coronary blood vessel and peripheral arteries, thereby helping blood flow smoothly. However when blood pressure is not controlled by just one medicine, a second medicine is added. Metoprolol slows down the heart rate and makes it easier for the heart to pump blood throughout the body. Together, Conidep-M 50 (BENIDIPINE+METOPROLOL) help treat hypertension.
Conidep-M 50 may reduce the chances of heart problems such as heart attack and stroke. It may also be used to treat angina pectoris.

Hypertension (High Blood pressure) . High blood pressure is a condition in which the blood exerts increased pressure on the walls of blood vessels. It is a condition in which the blood pressure is higher than 120/80 mm Hg.

Swallow Conidep-M 50 (BENIDIPINE+METOPROLOL) as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.

Each tablet of Conidep-M 50 contains Benidipine Hydrochloride 4 mg+ Metoprolol Succinate (SR) 50 MG.

It is advised to take Conidep-M 50 for as long as your doctor has prescribed it, depending on the medical condition.

In some cases, one may experience common side effects such as headache, dizziness, tiredness, diarrhoea, and nausea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Try not to stop taking Conidep-M 50 (BENIDIPINE+METOPROLOL) on your own, as it may cause a sudden increase in blood pressure. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The safety of Conidep-M 50 (BENIDIPINE+METOPROLOL) in children is unknown; please consult your doctor if you have any concerns. Drive with caution as Conidep-M 50 (BENIDIPINE+METOPROLOL) may cause dizziness. Avoid consuming alcohol as it might cause increased dizziness. Inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking and your health condition to rule out any interactions.
